We had 3 bathrooms renovated. Rocco was very good to work with - he was reachable, had good suggestions. We had never done a remodel of this scope and really did not know much. Rocco provided a lot of good suggestions. Like most contracting projects this took longer than expected, which I have to admit were mostly due to some delays on our end including changes we made, which then made our project overlap other projects Rocco had. For the most part we were pleased with the work done by the subcontractors.

I called Rocco Addeo to come and help design and build out our basement. I liked his ideas and his responsiveness to our needs. More importantly, he was courteous and timely with all of our requests for quotes and design of the basement. Finally, after discussion, my wife and I decided that we would hire Rocco for the job. One of the things that I like about Rocco is that he did not cut corners and was always willing to make modifications and/or additional items needed for the project. Also, he was always punctual and responsive to phone calls. When the project was completed we were very impressed with the quality of work. We have never had one issue related to the work that Rocco had completed at our home. In fact, people who visit our home are most impressed with the basement and a job well done.

Our bathroom needed and "Extreme Makeover"! It had to be completely gutted, with much of the subflooring replaced due to powder post beetle damage, a closet completely destroyed by water damage had to be rebuilt, and old duct work had to be boxed in. But no challenge was too great for Rocco. He was very accommodating and easy to work with, very agreeable to those inevitable changes that homeowners are prone to making along the way. Old houses present many challenges and our house was no exception. However, we are very satisfied with our old-fashioned bathroom with the bead board walls, small hexagonal ceramic tile floor, claw foot tub and pedestal sink. Rocco is a very capable contractor and we would highly recommend his workmanship. His prices are very fair, he is very accessible, and devotes full-time attention to the jobs until completion. We are "second-time around" customers, as he is now in the process of turning our garage into a new kitchen and living room.

Rocco was prompt with replying to the project, gave us a fair price for the work and completed the work within our timeframe. In 2005 my family and I decided that we wanted to expand our existing deck. We had a very specific and unique design in mind for a multi-tiered, wrap around deck which we could easily access from our driveway (in part to make snow clean-up easier with a snow thrower). We had several companies look at the job, a few self-selected themselves out of the job because of the challenges the design imposed and other's bids were well out of our price range. Rocco was genuinely interested in the design and maintaining the design integrity when I first spoke with him about the job and was sensitive to our budget. We agreed on a price, start-time, estimated completion time and several aspects of the build, including the re-use of the existing stairs, landing pad and structural columns. During the process, which started on the agreed upon day, Rocco ran into a few unexpected complications, including a VERY large boulder located where one of the post-holes was to be dropped. Rocco communicated the challenges immediately and we were able to agree upon a course of action. The solution was to utilize a backhoe to extract the boulder, a tool which was not anticipated or budgeted. Not only was the solution ultimately successful, but compensation for the use of the backhoe was not demanded by Rocco (a gesture not overlooked). Construction continued on a daily basis (excluding weekends - which was agreed upon at the outset) until it was compete. The deck (which we now affectionately call "The SS Back-deck" because of its size and resemblance of the bow of a boat from certain angles) was completed on-time, on-budget and to our specifications! In this day and age, a rare "triple crown" in my experience. I cannot recommend Addeo & Sons highly enough. Rocco is a true gentleman, a man of his word and a first class builder and problem solver.

Besides the actual work Rocco does &he takes care of our dogs when working on projects, including, but not limited to feeding, letting outside, and breaking up dog fights. Oh, and the work he has done & advise has been perfect in trying to keep the integrity of our 1851 home. Projects & work, such as, new doors, new deck, pool installation, taking down walls, re-building walls and new roof.

Hired him to change my counter top and he broke my dishwasher by not properly disconnecting it from the electrical wires. He implied it was broken already even though we heard the breaker trip and I was forced to have him buy a new one on the fly because I was afraid he would leave without replacing it. Either he or the plumber damaged the pipes under the sink. There is a sewer smell emanating from under the sink that has been there since the day they worked on my kitchen. He came out to look at it but he and the plumber claim the smell is from not using the dishwasher often enough. Have to hire a competent plumber to figure out what they did

This service was performed over a year ago? After removing the Dishwasher we found it to be broken due to an electrical problem we caused. I offered to replace it and took the customer (in my vehicle) on the same evening to buy another dishwasher. Why would they be afraid of me leaving (which I would never do) if I took her that same evening? I thought good customer service would remedy the situation. I continue to do due diligence in my quest for excellent customer service, but some people can't be satisfied. Why would you enter this a year later instead of using e-mail? Dis-honest customer. Please see other ratings and ask for references!
